DomRose Advisory · Strategy that survives reality.

The Growth Diagnostic. Two weeks. $4,500. Fixed.

Two weeks with an operator who finds where your business actually makes money, what is in the way, and the one growth bet worth making next, delivered as a 90-day plan you can run yourself.

The question it answers

Where is the money actually made, and what is the one bet worth making next?

Most owners have a feel for the answer. Few have seen it on paper, by line of work, with their own hours counted. That is what the two weeks are for.

What you get

Four documents, handed over at the readout.

1. Know Your Real Costs. A time study of where your hours and your team's hours go, and unit economics by line of work: what each one costs to deliver, what it earns, and which ones are quietly losing money. Built from your own books and one week of time logging.

2. Market and Competitor Packet. Who else serves the same customers in your trade area, how they price and position, where demand is going, and the two or three gaps nobody local is filling. Public sources, named and linked.

3. The One Bet. One growth move, such as a new service, a new kind of customer, a price change or a second crew, written as a decision: what has to be true for it to work, what it costs, what it should return in 12 months, and what would make me tell you to stop. Not a list of ideas. One bet, argued.

4. The 90-Day Plan. Week by week, who does what, what it costs, and how you know it is working. Designed to be run by you, with the team you already have.

How the two weeks run

DayWhat happens
0You sign and pay. I send a short list of what I need: your P&L, customer list, pricing, and calendar access for the time study.
1 to 2Kickoff, 90 minutes. Time logging starts.
3 to 5Half a day on site. I see the shop, the trucks, the front desk, the books.
6 to 9Two or three one-hour working calls. I build the cost model and the market packet and pressure-test them with you.
10 to 13I write, review and rewrite.
14Readout, 90 minutes. All four documents handed over.
21One 30-minute follow-up call, included.

What it takes from you

About six hours across the two weeks: the kickoff, the site visit, the working calls and the readout. Plus one week of you and your team writing down where the time goes. I will make that part easy.

How the work gets done

I spend roughly 20 hours on your business. I use AI tools to do the production work: the time study analysis, the cost model, the market research, the first draft of the plan. I review, rewrite and sign everything before you see it. You are paying for my judgment, and the tools are why it costs $4,500 instead of four times that.

Price

$4,500, fixed, due at signing. No hourly billing and no change orders. If the data I need takes more than 10 business days to arrive, the clock pauses. The fee does not change.

Who it is for

A founder-run business doing $1M to $15M that is profitable but stuck, where the owner is still the one selling. In Hays County or the Austin area, so I can be in the room.

Who it is not for

  • A business that is losing money or behind on payroll taxes. That needs a different kind of help, and I will say so.
  • An owner selling or closing in the next 12 months.
  • An owner who wants leads, a website or an ad campaign and nothing else.
  • Partners who disagree about whether to grow. Settle that first.

What is not included

I do not run the plan for you in this engagement. I do not prepare financial statements, clean up books, or give tax or legal advice. Anything that touches tax, entity structure or the books goes back to your CPA, and the plan says so in writing. No website, branding or advertising work. No capital raising or buyer search. A business with more than one location or more than one legal entity is quoted separately.

What happens after

The plan names which items you can run alone and which would move faster with help. Often the plan is something an owner can run alone, and that is a good outcome.

If you want help, there are two next steps: the Growth Office and the Applied Intelligence Install. Sign either within 30 days of your readout and $1,500 of the Diagnostic fee is credited toward it. One credit, not both.

How to start

One conversation, 45 minutes, no charge, at your shop, over coffee or by video. If it fits, you get a one-page proposal within a day. If it does not, you get a straight answer.
